Now when are studs needed? Also, some things I have seen that a hybrid vnt17/22 will get better mileage than a vnt 15. Fact or fiction?

Basically I'm looking at a stage 3 Malone tune to go with my PP502s, Southbend stage 2 endurance clutch, 2.5" turbo back exhaust, and AFE intake. What would you do?
 
Fiction, anything in the GT17**V* will yield about the same mileage.

Stick with your stock intake. Clean out the snow screen behind the headlight and battery and you'll have better flow than you'll ever need.
 
I still have the factory intake but I switched to the AFE piece due to the filter. I'm not a paper kinda filter guy. Simple and yet cost effective.

I'm debating on the 5th gear swap. 350 bucks isn't too bad either. I do a lot of highway driving and would appreciate better rpm's. 1800-2400 sounds like that the goal and running 70 it's around 1600. Also with changing the tires I have found out my odometer is off about 6% off now. Yay for more math on figuring mileage.
