That video is pathetic. Absolutely nothing compared to the Canadian truck pulls. Those trucks run uphill, and roll up faster than those two turds I just saw in that video.

Leiffi... with all the technological advancements that the Euros have. Is that all there is?
These are working trucks, closer to canadian b-class which has 81mm inducer limit. A-class is different, Caterpillars that have 0 original Cat parts, commonrail fuel system from Cummins, aftermarket ECM , those are only 50000 dollars. But they run great. That started about 3 years ago, before that I was not impressed.
 
Found an interesting sheet about transmission losses, only gearbox, would be nice to know rearend losses also. Not much losses through gearbox if driving in direct.

In direct you aren't loading the counter shafts. Power goes straight through the main shaft

But this is Quebec, these are your French Brothers. You mean to tell me that the amazing Euro truck quality is such an unknown secret that no one here knows about it? Or could it be that they have all seen the steaming turds you claim are the best and use Cat when power counts? I was shocked that there was no Volvo, Maxxforce or Paccar MX engines in the lineup lmao!

Probably because the same company’s that make chassis dyno’s also make engine dyno’s and might have actually tested this in real life you mouth breather. Next time your around a truck without an engine jack the back up and turn the input shaft with your hands and tell me it doesn’t take any power to turn the entire driveline.

Because gearing is entered into dyno when ran and calculated on being in direct, the formula is off when ran in OD.
