Truckers, lets see your rigs!

I just can’t see how they are different pressures....at least how one can be higher than the regulated pressure of the governor.

Most of the double needle gauges I've been around read 10-15 different. Prob just gauge inaccuracy

Both needles don’t lay on zero when all the air is gone. Probably the deal. I just couldn’t figure out what the white needle was reading from all the tubing every damn where.

Good to see you back, BRE.

What you driving now? Other than the T600, the rigs I’ve seen you post pictures of are typically pretty sharp.

We sold the t600 after we bought this.

After getting phucked over on it. We’re very slowly getting it whipped into shape.
Boss has been bleeding money in true trucking fashion.
My truck got inframed, clutch, compressor, injectors, steer axle, rear box on the trans, and I don’t remember what else... before it ever made is a dollar.
It’s since then had just about everything. Rear brakes, fifth wheel, turbo, and a bunch of other smaller things.
We then literally put tires on every damn thing we had aside from the belt. My truck got drives, bosses truck got drives, 41’ hopper got tires, we bought another 48’ hopper and pulled the super singles off of it and put tires and wheels on it.
The tank trailer had to get a new pump and engine. Which led to it getting completely replumbed as well as all new tires on it.

These are the most recent pics I have of mine.

Sounds like fun. LOL

The last picture (flat top and spread axle hopper) sure is sharp.

I’ve been building a rig, and it definitely takes some time. I’ll post some pictures when I’m done.

gauge is bad

as for air filling pending 1-2-3 tank setup there are internal check valves
air flows from compressor to wet tank than splits to primary and secondary tanks with check valves at entrance of all 3 locations..... the internal check valves will get plugged up when not used.. ive hook shop compressor up to the wet tank and install 3/8" ball valves as drains and just fill/dump the tanks trying to get the check valves to loosen up.. the tanks aren't cheap either to replace.. my air brake FL60 has a 3 tanks in 2 tank system ~600.00 to replace both....

and rear brakes should apply before front when applying the brakes..

I think I know how this is going to end up.

All my lift axles look like that. Never had a shock issue. I’ve never see the Intraax 250/300L that wasn’t like that when down. That’s the point of that style suspension to lift as high as possible and ride low. If he has issues he needs the limit chains like the severe service intraax AAEDT30k, or shock straps but those always rot off.

2006 379 peterbilt, does it have a module to drive the headlamps?

I just went through a knock-down, drag-out with a customer that insisted that his led headlamps stopped burning because we replace the engine with a long block. Power the lamps from the firewall connector allowed them to burn properly.

And yeah, we are working to source the oem parts to limit they axle, replace shock hardware and so-on

No, 2012+ NAMUX 3 has the chassis node that controls all lighting. 2006 is NAMUX 2, unless it was built in 2005 then its old school with relays.

Here is the shock strap list, after they rot off every year or so they will see why everyone else uses chains. OEM is usually the worst option.

I went far enough to prove it wasn't us and told him I wasn't comfortable going inside the cab after it since it was already a losing battle.
The schematics pointed to the MFTS (multi-function turn stalk) as a "module" but I could tell if it was its own device or a device with the stalk as input

Lol can probably fix it with a blow gun. Those turn stalks get nasty. Of course an $80 stock will probably make his head pop off.
