    Thanks out to the DHRA!

Received a check for $500 for Texas. Guess that's for being "West Champ"? Pat and Kat.

    Attention NADM.

A drag race is 1320'. It comes from the original Quarter Horse racing, dating to the early 1600's in Jamestown. With cars, it was 1320' and started in Santa Ana, California in 1950. That is all. :shake: :kick: :tree: :rules: :umno: :badidea: :pop:

Famoso: Casper needs less test, and more tune.

Casper flunked out at Famoso.:bang I made a number of changes all at once: gears, converter, locker, ECM tuning, transmission tuning, turbocharger, delete nitrous, etc. That is never a recipe for success, and I baked up a steamy pile instead.:kick: We spooled great. Got good sixty's - 1.63...

The limit of stock LLY Injectors:

Seems to be 800rwhp at 4400rpm with #2. There is a problem unrelated to the injectors themselves that appears to halt forward progress. Rather than re-invent the Dmax, I will puzzy-out and step up on the injector size to circumvent the limit.

    797 rwhp uncorrected, 4th gear, #2 only.

On stock injectors and a big single. Drove to and from the dyno in the rain, 19mpg. Fully streetable. Power carried out to 4400 rpm and we shut it off. Never did make full boost. Charger is a PPE GT42 Magnum single. PPE Dual Fuelers. EFILive tuning. Engine by SoCal Diesel, BMS and my...

New Suncoast 1055 Converter in Casper.

Starting out to test a new version of torque converter in Casper. Since we went up in turbo size again, we needed something more suited to big chargers. This is a Suncoast 1055 converter and it's the 7th? different converter in Casper IIRC. OEM, TTS, 1056, 1057, ML, ML2, and now a 1055...

HowTo: True Ram Air from Banks Intake System.

We decided to try the new Banks SuperScoop and their RamAir CAI on Wendy, our 2006 GMC Duramax. The Bank's kit is very complete and has good instructions. Parts are well-made. But the problem is that it does not truly seal the air into a "Ram Air" intake, just a Cold Air Induction. This is...

    Thanks out to the DHRA!

:rockwoot: Got our West Champ trophy today, looks sweet.:Cheer: Never did get a trophy for Vegas though. Certainly should have got an endurance trophy at least, with Kat hot-lapping Casper 20 times. :D Pic of our Wall of Shame, and closeup for the new addition, a Rudolf Diesel (the...

My public apology for my behavior at the Texas Nationals:

Following our DQ at the Texas Nationals. While our DQ was not legitimate in my eyes, my reaction to it was overboard. This is supposed to be a "fun" sport. When money gets involved, people do very weird things. But that still gives me no excuse to start yelling in public at the track officials...

    Stock Injectors, Stock Cam, #2 = 758.9hp

4th gear, IIRC 6-sec pulls, many pulls past 750. Only made 50PSI though. EGT's 1500-1600. Runs like stock. Good mileage. Viva La LiLLY:cheer:

    Drag product review, Real Wheels

We bought some Real Wheels so we could run taller tires at the drags with Casper. www.realwheel.net As many know, there aren't alot of 4x4 3/4ton racing tires or rims, so you try to come up with whatever might fit. Here's the skinny - They flex ALOT in the center section, perhaps .2". You...
