Yeah- there aren't many of those... The 2 quckest PM cars on the planet are PDRA cars. There are very few races that allow for a 1/4 mile pass in full PDRA/Outlaw trim.

Yes you are probably right Tim, but we ran with a group of them at the Bakersfield race last March and will again this next March. My hero was a 72 year old guy who ran in the mid 5's at 265 mph. A great group of guys.

You don't happen to remember his name do you? I work with a guy whose father helped to start that series. I didn't think those guys were in the mid 5's though- I thought they were running 5.7's or so over there. The Q80 Team ran a 5.47 at 272 this year at gateway and Frankie ran a 5.48 at the same event. Both of those cars generally run 8th mile PDRA stuff.

Sorry Tim don't remember his name but this is a picture of his tow rig, SWEET!!

Me and Ken made a beeline for him as soon as we pulled in to the track. Super cool guy, he built the while tow rig in his back yard. It had a vortec big block in it and Ken spent about an hour trying to convince him to put a duramax in it lol

Here's a 5.74 @ 257 MPH run that one of my buddies shot at the Bakersfield race.

I can't remember who ran the quickest ET of the day or during each round.

I wonder if 4.10s would be able to compete well in 1/8th mile racing. Logic says yes.

I'm not an expert and I don't have a pro street truck but what I do have is allot of passes under my belt. I love the long track but more often than not the race is over well before the end of the 1/8th.

This concept does not apply for Seth's truck
