I don't see the point in not allowing duals? Of course I will admit I am a little biased since my puller is a DRW truck.

I think the rules need to focus on limiting the power.

Some one said once if your going to run duals why not run bar tires

Also gas pullers been around for long time and they never run duals for pulling
 
We arent GAS pullers. If this is all about safety then why not just make a rule the dual tires must be covered . A super wide tire can stick out just as far as a dual. If you think its an advantage to have duals add a fender.

I run duals on my truck also. The attraction to SRW is it is one of the easiest things to tech. Can you count to 4 and realize that if there are uncounted tires when you get to 4 they are in violation of the rules.

I personally think in KY you won't see a huge difference, it is areas that have crappy tracks that the guys with more power will be hurt!
