Have you seen this? Have you heard about this?

PLENTY of lube was used.
 
is that indentation on the head from the washers?

Yes. Up to 1/16" in one.

If you look at the top picture, you can see where the inside of the hole actually broke away. Small chunks of metal were stuck to the washer when it was pulled.
 
looks to me like the head was walking were the dowls in place and what type of head gasket ?
 
Lost a soft plug in the head. A ton of coolant got in the oil. Bearings and crank were roasted.
 
probably bad casting, and thats probably the reason the freeze plug let loose
 
The head came from a member on here. It was supposed to be from an '05 Dodge truck with little hours. The head has "ECHO" stamped in the casting behind the intake plenum plate, near the back of the head. I have never seen this on any other CR head.
