Can't wait for more pics ! Never understood why ford never went with an inline...

:pop:

The issues with their engines weren't a result of a configuration mixup (L6 vs V8) but rather bad design. Personally, I like a V8 configuration in a diesel.

Well I like driving them, but not necessarily working on them.

Spending the week to work on it...work can piss off. :) I'm hoping to be driving it in some capacity by friday. :D

Wow amazing project!!
This is near exactly what I wanted to do!

Are you planning to get the gauges and cluster working, or just make a new panel with new gauges?

Swaps with 2008+ trucks are hard to find information on.

Trying to not think about gauges and what not yet...I will be doing a mechanical set of gauges for the basic functions...but as for the factory dash....not sure yet.

Got a driveshaft in, clutch is working, adapted a wilwood master to the stock pedal assembly for reliability and ease of normal non proprietary fittings. Initial testing with the air slave tells me it reduces clutch effort by around 50%. It's super easy to disengage it with my arm. ;)

Just a viair for now.... This thing uses next to no air just tested it with a full tank and it Maybe moves 0.5 psi per cycle. I would like a dt pump though! Have one kicking around?

This clutch setup is awesome... Feels like a Honda civic clutch!
