I recently sold a set of carillo connecting rods to kronk. Upon receipt of them he put in a claim on paypal for not receiving them. I put in the tracking info on paypal to prove that they had arrived and i still was found at fault. So now i am out my rods and he got his $1700 back, which i now have to pay. If you want the money back how about you send me my rods back. Or get it straightened out with paypal! I understand it took me a couple weeks to get them shipped out, but seriously. I sold them because im barely getting by. And now i have no rods and i owe paypal $1700.

That's really crappy. Man I had that happen so many times to me when selling on ebay. I would be careless with my ups receipt and not have the tracking number so I lost a few cases where I knew the people got the item!!

REALLY hope this gets worked out for you. $1,700 is a lot of cheddar to be out of!

I wasn't aware of this until another member on here text me to let me know.
Now that I am aware of this thread I will respond. Oh and by the way; the carillos in my signature have been in my engine for several years now. Chris at DRV built this motor for me so that answers that.

Pay pal screen shots clearly show when I first initiated dispute which was just a message asking seller for tracking info. After not hearing from him for several days I escalated dispute asking pay pal to resolve the matter for me.

Easy guys. Kronk is legit and a straight shooter. He has several built motors and trucks with Carrillos and he clearly don't need to rip anyone off for money or rods. I have done many deals with Kronk. Three years IIRC and we both have sold and bought from each other each transaction smooth as silk and as advertised.

Strange enough I have also bought one larger ticket item from the OP of this thread and had issues with an extremely long delivery. He took 6 to 7 weeks to deliver my turbo and I had tons of no or slow replys to get any updates. He has alot of excuses from being really busy but I did finally get my turbo after a lot of nagging. Turbo showed up packaged like a kid would do. Bent V band from banging around in a loosely packed box with freaking packing peanuts and an oil soaked turbine wheel and housing.

Just to be clear and fair I haven't got to use the turbo yet ended up buying another because my truck was down and I was waiting way too long for this one to show up. So at this point I am unsure of the oil soaked housing being a blown rear oil seal or not. To his benifit he claimed he ran the turbo five minutes and had engine issues sending oil through the turbine so his story may be true I only hope so when I finally get a chance to use it.

I drove 420 miles from salt lake to vegas to meet up with Kronk for a turbo he had for sale on here. Great guy, very friendly, welcomed me into his house.

I escalated dispute on 02/01/2016
Open box was left on bench on front door step 02/03/2016
I didn't receive email from pay pal informing me of shipping info until 02/15/2016

He's a punk! Kidding. MC is a excellent buyer. No BS. Fast payment....etc. Id wonder what was going on if someone didn't repond after I sent them $1700 too.
