I'd like to introduce to you Nick Frantz aka macktruckdriver.

Nick sold me some 24v CR valve springs advertised as Hamilton 103lb springs. When they arrived I took them to my preferred shop where I was going to install them. Coincidently there was another spring install happening with Hamilton springs, I compared the springs against the Hamiltons and found that they were not similar in anyway. Come to find out that they are IDENTICAL to Crower 4.6 modular springs! So I immediately hopped back on here and sent another PM to the OP explaining my findings. As you can see below, he purchased these at some point from Ziegler who has been caught for this exact problem in the past as I'm told by several other veteran members from this forum.

The OP agreed to refund my money once the springs were returned and he could "inspect" them to verify they are indeed the ones he sent out. So I counted them, took pics of them, and boxed them back up in the packaging that they were sent to me in, and shipped them back off Certified USPS with signature required for delivery and delivery confirmation. I received confirmation that they were delivered back to him at the DIFFERENT RETURN ADDRESS he requested on Dec 23rd at 10:41am.

I sent him a PM stating that they were delivered and signed for on the above date, and asked when I could expect a refund. He stated that he was out of town for the holidays and that he would return home on the 9th of Jan. So I let it slide because it was the holidays and messaged him again yesterday on the 9th. Now he's stating that he did not receive any package with the valve springs enclosed, and that he has no idea who signed for the package since he is the only one living at the above address. When questioned who it was that signed for the package he denies knowing and said that it was someone "random" and that the package was long gone. So its someone "random" with the same last name as him? Possibly his new wife? Mom? Aunt? who knows!?!?

I can't dispute the charge because I did what I thought was right, and sent the money as a gift so I took care of the charges. I have all but given up on expecting any sort of refund from this individual, but that doesn't mean that I can't warn my fellow members of the type of business that he chooses to conduct on here. So to any and all members reading this, I'd recommend thinking twice when choosing to do business with this individual. Let my bad experience serve as a warning!!!

Now on to the rest of the screenshots! Enjoy! :Cheer:

Please forgive all the photobucket links that don't work, I didn't realize that there was a problem with photobucket here, and came from a forum where it did work fine.

Boy that's ****ty. Hopefully he speaks up and explains himself

Sent from my flashscan v2

I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt because he stayed in contact with me during the past few weeks and didn't just flat out blow me off.

Oh well, you live and learn I guess. Can't say that I'll be doing any more transactions here though.

Don't burn the group for the actions of one potential theif.

Plenty of good people on here.

You can't say it's the site man, you ran into one bad situation that is his fault but partially yours too. You didn't have to send it as a gift and I always pay the fee for the seller if they request it as a gift. The few extra bucks is always worth it just in case.

Get out of here with your research. The hate wagon just started rolling!

Yeah loren. No one wants to hear both sides. I'm sure this was exactly how this whole scenario played out. No one ever lies here.

For the record, I can't see any of the pics on govt computer, so I'm just talking out my ass here.

I can't see the pics either but this loadedburrito dude mumbling about douchebag posts just set me off. The last burrito I dealt with gave me food poisoning so I don't trust any burritos anymore.

I personally wouldn't deal with anyone not smart enough to post a picture on a website.....but that's just me.

I believe he had some personal issues come up. Hopefully this all comes to a good resolution.

Like stated in my PMs I would contact the post office today to figure out if they knew what happened as I don't have them. Also I never asked you to pay the fees and never ask for money to be sent as a gift.

Yes the spring I got from Ziegler were already used in a different truck like I told him. The ones I sold were ones I bought from Hamilton for my current truck. To me no big deal you wanna complain send them back not that hard to sell them again. He mailed them I haven't recived them. When I do he will get a refund. Not that difficult. Some people just like to get their panties in awad over any little thing.

I wasn't trying to infer that you stated that I had to pay fees, or that the money needed to be sent as a gift. I was saying that I did what I thought was right and send payment that way because that's how I've always done it in the past, and know that a lot of people like it if the buyer takes care of the fees.

Looks like you got some communication. Maybe it will work out.

FWIW....don't send ANYTHING UPSP that you can't afford to loose. $.02

I think Nick is suggesting to find out who signed for the box. Most of the times when I have had issues(IE dropped off at the wrong house etc) the delivery person remembers who signed etc. With today's technology, they probably have the GPS coordinates where the signature took place.

I sent via USPS because I know that they will actually get a signature when asked, unlike UPS/FedEx who will just drop it at the door and run. At least that's how they are out here regularly.
