Thought I'd start a build thread.
To start here's a pic of my truck cleaned up before heading to scheids last year

I p pumped back a winter or 2 ago(time gets away from me) 215 pump 4k gov cut dv plate I made.

Anyways I broke the input in the rag last november

So instead of screwing with the rag again I bought me a 94 parts truck

I've since tore the 94 done to frame. Putting the nv4500 in the 93.

Putting bigger input in and a 5th gear nut fix

Also got the 94 engine out and started tearing it down for a build

This is really the only engine component I've got so far :)

Man I love tapatalk first time I posted pics ( reason why I accidentally put 3 up of my truck lol) so much easier than using the Internet at home.

Looks cool man, I love 1st gens, makes me wish I had never sold mine

Just curious...what were you doing when the input shaft twisted on the Getrag?

--Eric

Well the single disk I had in it had been slipping for a long time and continued to get worse and worse where I couldn't even roll into the throttle without it slipping. I went on a trip to louisville with it and as I was coming up the hill to turn on the road i live on, the clutch slipped and I let out and it grabbed and twisted the shaft off. Bam. End of story lol

Thought I'd throw up a pic of the truck when I bought it

Going to call a shop tomorrow about doing all my machine work for me. Get the ball rolling on my engine build

thanks for the kind words folks. im hoping to get the big nasty clutch in and stab the trans the weekend.

A 93 for a pulling truck, excellent choice my friend. All your friends with 2nd gens will be jealous of how much easier they are to work on. They ve got a lot of room around the engines.

Yea I like be able to touch the back of the head. Not to mention enough room on each side of the engine to stow away 6 mexicans.

haha, I love being able to brag about how easy it is to get to the back of my head.
