Numerous ECMs for sale! 2001-2007

I've sold quite a few, but I also keep finding them.
What one(s) are you looking for?

I may have a revised list up later on.

Mark.

I don't have ANY manual ECMs in the CM849 numbers.
You're looking for either 4931973 or 4937148.

Can you re-flash an auto to a manual?

Mark.

How would I do that? Have access to a snapon tool, but its a few years old, not sure if you can do it with that or not.

Snap-On scanners are a wonderful tool, but they typically don't change ECM parameters beyond code resets, tests and analysis.

If you're replacing a bad ECM, since it's an '06 and LIKELY has security, you'll need to have the SKIM (Sentry Key Immobilizer Module) reprogrammed, which a dealer can do.
They may also be able to reprogram the transmission parameters.

Otherwise, with EFI Live, you can disable the SKIM and you (or a tuner) may be able to program transmission options in the ECM with EFI Live.

There may also be other reprogramming besides the SKIM and transmission parameters necessary.

3500? 4500? 5500?
Any idea of what part number you need?
As mentioned, you need to reprogram to use it.

No, I don't have any engine wiring harnesses that I will sell at this time.

Folks, if you are looking for a specific application, part number, or numbers, please list it.
Hit me up on the 6.7 ones, too, as I don't typically buy those, but I would if I knew they'd sell.

It's a 3500. I'm guessing on the side of the ECM it will say a part number?

Dealer can reprogram it off the truck correct?

I honestly don't even know for certain the ECM is bad, but was told it is by a "local" shop.

Usually the part number is on a tag on the face of the ecm, otherwise it's also on the back side after it's unbolted.

I don't think a dealer "will" flash an ECM off the vehicle, almost always I have seen where people have to take the vehicle in to get ECM work done, but I may be wrong.

What is it doing that makes them suspect an ECM? You can PM me if you want to converse on this.

I got to looking very closely and the pinouts for the C-123 plug ARE the same between 2006 and 2007 BUT I am told the APPS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) protocol is different.
I KNOW the APPS plug and the pedal itself is different between the 2 years.

Theoretically, if you swapped the plugs between the 2, it "SHOULD" work.

If I were more savvy on the EFI Live programming (I am learning), I could try pulling a '1973 (2006 manual trans) file and loading it into the '1978 (2007 manual trans) ecm, but I'm betting I would screw it up. LOL
