Super Stock truck build.

I know I'll never afford it, not with this job anyways. And even knowing I can't ever afford the million dollar truck, it's still cool to know that its a million dollar truck. And I was just curious about the hours into the truck, because I was wondering if it was something crazy like 1000 total man hours or something. I wouldn't know, because I've never done it, and never will.

I was just asking, no harm or "stealing of secrets" intended.

I'd guess its WAY over 1000 man hours already. But unless you are doing this as a business and tracking your payroll, you couldn't keep track of all the hours spent on a project of this scale.

Chris, you do amazing work man! I've said it before, I wish I had just a fraction of your skill and talent.

It's
so

This quip from American Dad comes to mind:

i want the next post in regards to this project to be something better than " a few more things" .. im way to excited for my boy and this project.

As promised...

We are running ice water through the heads, so we used two of the stock Y bridges and modified them to run AN-16 hoses to each end of the heads.

Oil filter base from clearview filtration.
Uses a 115 micron 6" oberg screen filter with a see through window on top and accepts a Fram HP-6 or equivalent spin on filter on the bottom.

On the other inlet I'm going to plumb in a 3 quart accumulator so that I can pre lube the engine before startup and have a little reserve time to shutdown incase the oil pump fails.

Fliter mounted in place and plumbed. There will be a heat shield between it and the header.

Showing where we recessed the return in on the oil tank. This keeps the line neatly tucked in between the tank and weight box out of harms way.
