VP44. $1700 Blue Chip or other?

Yip. The box is off now and the MAP is plugged back direct to ECM like stock. This morning it was 73F outside and when I started it up, the IAT read 73F. I got to the highway (1/2 mile) and took off. Smoke was really good. Light haze. Then as the engine temp got to about 200 and the IAT temp got to reading about 90F the smoke got worse and worse. So, it appears to be temp dependent with the motor. The IAT sensor reads like I think it should.....but I may have to try a new one. I didn't get around to swapping the MAP sensor yet, but I will have to try that tonight too.

I got two loads of calves to haul come Monday morning. One will net around #11,450 and the other around #10,775. So, I really don't want to smoke like hell all the way to the stockyards and back twice (150 miles round trip).

I'll buy a case of beer for anyone who sends me a solution that works between now and then.

I think I may just need a new diesel mechanic. :hehe:
