P pumped 7.3 Mustang

It's a big shaft cs1 with overdrive case. We have 3 cases (4 speed) but we might take 1st out.

Also running a Bruno drive not a clutch.

Any reason you went with the converter drive instead of a clutch? Just curious, as clutches seem to work well for Seth, Dan, John, Darren, etc.

We are going to be running a custom convertor from Neal Chance and it should be able to take the abuse. Convertor will yield better lights because I will be doing less when staging and be able to be more constant. But Ive never raced a clutch so Im not sure. Im just going off only having to deal with a trans brake and throttle. our stall speed will be easily changed because it is a full billet bolt together convertor

How long till it's runnin

un sure at this point. We are hoping to have it out at some point during the 2015 season but no promises. Like i said earlier we arn't rushing it and dont have a dead line. it will be done when its done.

thats awesome, beem watching it over on psa. cant wait to see it run

This an awesome build! You guys are doing awesome work on it. It looks like you have plenty of other bad ass projects going on in the back round as well too.

We arnt doing the instal. Having holzman race cars do the motor plates, trans mount, tunnel and dual frame rail set up. Then it's pack to our shop to do turbos and finish everything.

Those bolt together converters tend to leak like a siv.

Hope you like the converter setup though. We went with a Spec-Rite and a US Quickdrive for our pro mod car.

Have them do a BIG anti-roll bar in that thing while it's there! We went with a 3"

Excited to see it run.

I love this build! Glad to see you are adding the dual frame rails, they seem to be necessary for the torque & weight of a diesel!

Yup sounded like a good idea! They pretty much are going off the mind set that If they think it's over built its just right. That's why the motor plates are steel instead of aluminum.
