It will be a 2 day with Sunday being for Big Dawg Dyno as of now unless there ends up being non interest.
 
How many sled pulls a year are there in Texas? Trying to decide wether to build a puller or a dragger? Got a strip 10 min. from my house but been racing gassers would rather hook to a sled.
 
Cant.....If its a puller it will be 4x4 and if its a dragger gonna try to cram a 24V in a 2wd Dakota maybe!

ALSO
same weekend as Mud Nationals in Jacksonville. for those of you that aren't familiar, mud nats is 16,000+ people on 4wheelers in the east texas mud. its one hell of a drinkin weekend.

I'm split between 3 events on the same weekend....anyone else in my situation?

Don't know where Poetry, Texas is, but the TTTPA (Texas Truck and Tractor Pulling Association) does about 12 to 14 pulls. They have a 2.6 calls with decent payouts.

The ODRA should be holding a few pulls this year and then someone will have a pull in Baytown.

Actually im stuck trying to figure out what one of the 3 im going to also! Since I dont have a truck to dyno im really leaning toward the mudnats (if my bike gets done)
 
dadgum it. i scheduled myself to work the first weekend of april. DEFF will be changing that. Chilifest is also that weekend but forget that. Ill deff be doing my best to RE-schedule to make buda. Thats probly one of my most fav events all year....
 
First friday of every month at HMP in Houston. DI Performance/Hellmann Performance/Hot Rod Diesels diesel shoot out.Pay out for fastest mile an hour and et.
 
I may have to make this at some point. I actually have plans to be in the Houston/Galveston area alot this year on non-diesel related stuff.

I'm in the same boat.. I will prolly dyno though.. I wont have my lift for the brute by then..
 
Will gas powered vehicles be able to dyno? I have a buddy with 496 smallblock in a rock crawler that wants to dyno..
 
hey JaMan, what are all the details on the Buda event? or have yall gotten the agenda worked out yet?
 
Sat. starts about 8:30 am till whenever and we are having the Big Dawg again this year and it will start Sun. about 10:30 or so not sure yet on Sunday. We might try to run some overflow trucks on Sunday just have to see. $60 for 2 runs and $10 for extra runs.
