    Wondering if there's any good places to find used tractor engines. Looking at getting a Ford 7610 engine (238T) for a future build.

    Debating on HX40, 50, or GT40

    Just trying to come up with some good avenues to take. Doing some hi po DT466 engines in trucks, but the old mechanical engines used a T04, which isnt much for flow. My thinking was an HX40/16 for a mild one(300hp & less). Then, an HX50/19 for the 3-400hp range. Possibly a GT40 thrown in there.

    Just looking at them, and the parts for them. I have a stamping of 014 on it, and I'm sure it's not anything good. Tempted to just go for some .191's or the DDP set & call it good.

    10mm P-pump, adding 191DV

    Got a 10mm P-pump on a 466. It has a 0 plate full forward, gov springs 4 clicks tighter, and timing set to 20. It could use a little more, so I was thinking of a set of 191 Del valves to give it hopefully around 30 more hp. Any better ideas(that are affordable)?

    A 401's head bolts are that small?

    Looking up head bolt spex, they show it as 70 ft lbs. That's spec for a 7/16" bolt. How will the head gasket even hold up to any booost pressure? How do the sled puller guys make em hold up? Drill & re-tap for big studs?

    Is there a place to get any GT40 compressor upgrades? I'm trying to get a truck DT466P to some better power numbers, but dont want it smokey.     P-pumps. 10mm-13mm

    Just trying to get the gist of what has what. Last I heard, a DT466 has 10mm plunger & barrellls. Then the Cummins 6CT has 12mm. Does the Cummins B have 10mm P&B? Anyone have this type of info?

    Model 100 pump adjustments

    So, if I'm getting this correct, loosen the jamb nut & slide that plate, then adjust the droop screw. The real question, is the governor adjustable, or is it a pre-set type of spring?
