03/04 updates?

Its got big injectors, and a stock cp3, this truck is not setup for big power at high RPM but still works for a good test truck. Hitting limiters at 5000rpm in a 1500HP truck wrecks parts, so Beta testing is always best at moderate power levels.

Cold weather testing on a couple of 2003 trucks today showed great promise for those that have been plagued by the poor running of your truck in the cold weather.

Cold weather testing will resume tomorrow.

That is exactly what we were working on today.

2003 running full fuel and rail pressure at 3*C outside air temp. No issues so far.

Say someone has a stock 05, how soon can tuning of it commence?

And how much safe whp could be made with new said tuning given the tranny was built? (Stock stix, cp3, and turbo)

Will there be an Autocal type option for folks not wanting to do anything other than buy tunes and load them?

Tuning can commenced now with a authorized beta tester.

Horsepower on a built trans only is right on par with any efi tuned truck, 480-520hp depending on dyno readout.

No autocal or personal handheld, you'll have to buy the tuning hardware.

You'll need a laptop to read, flash and log

Do you think there will be much difference power wise between say an 03-04 vs 04.5+?

Do the ECM's from each have the same tables available to modify?

Power should be the same, provided the tuner knows their job.

There are I think 3-different ECM's 846/847/848....all have generally the same tables except for the earlier years that don't have a ttva.

All have pilot, main, and post timing, pulse and fuel quantity tables.

So in essence to can add a 3rd event to a factory 2-event setup.

Other than that, they are the same tuning wise and all respond the same....you enter a value, log it and it's there....unless you missed something.
