Anyone here involved with UNOH's pulling truck?

still got parts comin its at a pretty low level right now but if you actually saw it and wht has had to be done ud b impressed

You're gonna impress very few people here honestly. Your power goals are what we daily drive every day. Parts lists mean nothing here

I'd be more impressed if you would be bothered with attempting to spell chit so we could read it.

you make a very good point power talks bull**** walks i understand that so i guess we will put our money where our mouths are it will take time but we will get there

Im a mech not an english teacher ok. dont like it dont read it thanks!!

Sounds like to me your not much of either. Most people on this site will have forgotten more about diesels then you will learn at that school while you are there.

hey im a b tech at a local dealership and im learnin all the time im no genius thts forsure sorry i came across tht way but it is wht it is

Im a parts changer not an english teacher ok. dont like it dont read it thanks!!

fixed that for ya chief.

sadly unoh's truck would beat the wyotech truck of it even made it to the first cone. pretty sure a rabbit set up that suspension.....trucks got hops.

very common in the pulling community. LOL but it goes a long way to helping the rest of the world understand your point of view without rereading your post 4 or 5 times.

and who are you at unoh that seems to think you are so important...try to realize not everyone goes there or has even heard of it before this thread.

i understand that im a graduate im a club member and some of the guys talked about in this thread are good friends of mine and also rookies but they are getting somewhere with the truck it hasnt made a pass yet and i kno i can talk it up til im blue in the face but i just dont want everyone bein so d@mned negative about it when they only kno something on a message board

Chit just got real here. :pop:

Dude, I have owned my truck for 4 months and made multiple passes down the track and 1/4 mile on a $12/hr job with a wife thrown in there. I never went to school other than for my EMT cert. Do I know everything? No. But I would think a school that allocated more money than I have in my truck should have made a few passes already. So, what is the problem here? It ain't money, that's for sure.

no your right to an extent its guys not workin on chit mostly the same guys sayin how smart they are they wanna do things their way wether that way is right or wrong or they have no time to put in any wrench time anybody tht was around when i was there will tell you it was always the same guys doin all the work and most of us have graduated but we didnt get a load of school money either there has been fund raisers and alot of foot work to get where it is and its gettin alittle further all the time

So if I'm reading this right a group or club at a techinical college decide to build a pulling truck. Instead of starting out small they decided to jump to a 3.0 class. Now they are almost a year into building, make 400hp, and no test past but keep buying parts to change stuff? Im guessing these are the same guys that when they graduate go to our local dealerships as "diesel Specialist"?
