pictures of 12v intercooled piston compared to nonintercooled piston

I had done some searcing and looking for some pictures of some nonintercooled pistons compared to intercooled pistons. I came up with nothing, so I purchased some on Ebay. Today I was able to get some pictures comparing the two.

In the pictures below the piston on the left is a standard 12v intercooled piston, the piston on the right is a nonintercooled piston.

Just as some added information, I stole these from another thread. This is the standard intercooled piston compared to Mahle 155*

I got all the 12 valve dimensions/blueprints, heres some info...

i THINK #286110 is the non intercooled piston, but have heard that #286210 is also, and not sure what the #286050 is, maybe Snedge or Smokem will let us know

#286110 64mm wide bowl, 14.13mm to the top of the ring, 47.1cc bowl
#286210 59.12mm wide bowl, 14.13mm to the top of the ring, 43.2cc bowl
#286050 66.31mm wide bowl, 14.38mm to the top of the ring, 52.3cc bowl
# 286140 64.3mm wide bowl, 10.3mm to the top of the ring, 53cc bowl, coated skirt, dual ring steel insert, TRUE marine piston

for factory intercooled 12 valves i have 7 different ones shown, but all very similar

That piston is from a '94-95 as the top ring land is 8mm from the crown. I have prints for every stock piston from Non I/C 1st Gen to the 6.7L, could have just asked.

This I also find to be pretty interesting, since the pistons came out of a running 98 truck with a storm block. Someone must of changed them at some point. Good information, and thanks!

The non intercooled piston would be a good 6.7 crank piston. Looks like they would still have more deck even with .080 cut off or what ever the exact number is.

10 mm from the top of the ring to the crown on my 98 piston.

I'm still trying to decide on whether I should keep my stock piston or go for an aluminum one with a larger bowl. I'm not really after big power, just an efficient/smooth motor.
