Regular cab resto and build

It won't be a roller for long. I have a engine and transmission setting ready to drop in just need time. It will be for sale as a running truck before long.

Transmission should be back this weekend. I'll get it installed then move on to getting brakes plumbed, intercooler pipes built, exhaust, put the engine bay back together with radiator and all that good stuff, drive lines built, wiring, paint and body... I have a ton of work to do lol

Haven't updated in a while... We had our sponsored race July 18th and the week before we were still a frame with wheels and tires and a engine just sitting on it. We thrashed for a week till as late as we could stay up and managed to get it done enough to make a few easy passes. Got the fuel cell mounted, turbo piping done, transmission rebuilt and in, brakes plumbed in and bled and so on. I wanted to have it painted before hand but we didn't have time. Went and ran a 11.1 for our first pass with some throttle and loaded up and went home. Went to another race in Missouri and couldn't get the timing system to cooperate with us but got one slip for a 10.70@123 and broke the flexplate the next pass. Got that fixed and had a converter go down before it made it back to the track so put a spare in it and got it ready to go again and went to the midnights at Tulsa and got death wobble both passes there so didn't get any good numbers. 11.1 was the best of the night on the brakes. Truck doesn't seem like it's getting the full 600cc of fuel that the pump has so I'm going to look into what could be causing an issue this week. Here are some pictures from getting it where it is today.

471/591 turbo setup now.

First pass under power. Left on little to no boost and was pretty happy with the time. Had a couple leaks surface so we loaded up and went home.

Rogersville Missouri. Had some traction issues. Played with tire pressure until it broke. Never really got it lined out.

Full boost and full throttle around the eighth. Thing isn't fueling like it should or to its full potential imo.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the truck so far. Get these bugs worked out and I think I'll have a pretty fun truck. I'll try to post more updates on how it's doing.

Lookin good man those are some pretty good times even with the issues keep it up and keep us posted.

Will do! Truck is ugly as sin and draws a lot of attention at the track lol its being known as "Oscar" due to it looking like something related to Oscar off Sesame Street :)

I'm actually surprised at how well is Spools. With my normal DV's it will spool in under 10 seconds with no AFC and a 22-2300 stall. Full cuts it takes almost 20 from what I can tell but I don't usually run them and haven't yet just trying to figure out my fueling issue. I'll post up a video.

It looks great, That is my favorite style with the primary out front. Should make for a fun ride when you get your fueling issue figured out.
