Hi Pete,
I wasn't referring to you but I thought I'd let you know that when Tony ran you, he wasn't running nos. What are the last 4 digits of your social security number? Yami has timeslips for all of Tony's runs and we can positively show you since he runs 13.6 on nitrous. Yami has the nos slips too. She's a good wife :clap:
Thanks,
Vivian
Good Morning,
I hope everyone is on their way to a beautiful Wednesday!
Hey Rob,
I'm curious to know why you believe the crossover line completes the system? Why is it necessary? What is the crossover intended to accomplish?
I'm not picking on you. You know we're friends. :Cheer: Not only you, anyone who can give some input about what moving the fuel from one side to the other is intended to do and how you know it gives the best benefit. Who can attest to it with examples?
Thanks,
Vivian
Hi Pete,
He did run a 13.89 on nos as his last run because DJ fixed it for him but his fogger was messed up so he wasn't running the nos, when he ran you. His best on nitrous is 13.6. He runs on fuel 14.05 to 14.19. What do you run on fuel?
Yami has all the timeslips. Send me a PM with the last 4-digits of your social security number and I will prove it to you.
Thanks,
Vivian
ITP's kit isn't even a crossover line kit...maybe this thread got a little off track...but it is not accurately describing Dennis's product and I wanted to clarify that...
"Also, my kit is not a "crossover line"...which is just a simple line that connects the rear heads together. Mine is a full RR kit that ties the rear ports into the regulator, regulates the fuel pressure after the heads and provides full fuel flow through the heads through larger fuel lines and better flowing fitting."
My best run on fuel is 14.10.
I believe this was the NHRDA run so it would be 4183. My NHRDA #. No need to prove it, please don't waist your time looking this up. Tony's truck does move out. 4.10 gears always get going at the end of the track.
Hope to see you this weekend.
Im at work and really cant go too much in to detail until tonight. Theu fuel tends to dead ends at the back of the heads. The x-over line tends to move the volume of fuel futher back and balances the pressure amongst the heads.
Actually what should happen is the lines in the back of the head should y- together then go to a regulator so you can have a true regulalted return . I believe Elite has this type of system. This is the proper return
This thread is driving me crazy...too many reputable people with differing opinions...I just want to spend some $ and get the parts ordered!
Has anyone ever taken apart the heads in a 6.0L and looked at them? Thanks,
Vivian
