Let's seem some aluminum headache racks.

this guy uses a pulse mig..its wild..im a welder and never seen one like his...its friggin badass...no tig on this rig all mig

I want al really, really bad, but I can't weld it. I just have an old Marquette 240V mig. I could probably set it up to weld al, but hell, if I do steel, I can just weld and go.

In response to this particular rack...which I really like.....

"I build that exact hauler style rack, and can leave the bars out of middle. Would be impossible to weld together without our jig. In the raw, ready to sandblast, with no lights, would run you 675.00. "

You are up awful early today. There are a few used ones around east of town. :D

I was just getting home from work. Still kinda of early in my night.

I doubt I could afford any of them. I just need something I can cut and weld when I need to change it up for stuff. Add tie downs, mounts for tanks, etc... Something I can make look like chit without feeling bad LOL

pretty much done for now cept shortening the tailpipe

I like! Glad you left the steel bumper on the back. It looks tiny. I think you should stretch the frame and make it longer. :poke:

it does look small I know..but sq ft it is huge compared to the original bed. wider by 4'' and longer by 2. no fenderwells or dbl walls but yeah a shortbed does make it look smaller...

now to install the new dashboard

The screws under the defroster vents are a huge PITA. I did mine without taking the whole dash out. I just broke the screws off the old one that was all cracked up and left the screws out of the new one. I never had it rattle. It might now, two owners later, but not for me. Good luck.
