    BIG Race 5.9 CR Injectors

Well the time has come to part with some more race truck parts to make room for the new stuff. These injectors are what it takes to go from being a class filler, to a front runner. We are selling 6 for sure (see picture) and the flow sheets show a 7th, that is likely still boxed up brand new...

What is NHRDA's future for Pro Street?

For those that don't realize this, the current record is 8.81@157mph, this is just 3 tenth's from being a problem. Most who drag race will probably already know this, so for those that do not, I will fill you in. The first level of NHRA roll cage is certified to an e.t of 8.50, once you go...

New Best to End the Season!

We went down to Medicine Hat, Ab this weekend for Southern Alberta's quickest street car shootout. We were fighting some power issues, and were well down on mph from normal, but we were able to focus on dialing in our launch a little better and the last run of the night / season we got our best...

    1500+ Common Rail

On Saturday August 25th at Armor Inc's Dyno day on Supreme Diesels mobile Dyno Com Dyno Torrey (1100hp) put down 1503hp uncorrected. Which is only 23hp off the CompD calculator for 6800lbs@149mph of 1526hp. The second run was low as we put the big tune in to try it, and ended up breaking a...

    CR Front Freeze Plug

I, as have many here, blown out the rear freeze plug and the side freeze plugs, and the head freeze plugs. However this was a new one for me tonight. I was in a friend of mines truck, and we were doing some tuning at the end of the pass it was noticed that we were loosing water, so we shut it...

    2nd gen brakes on a 3rd gen

Yes it is well covered for 3rd gen brakes on a 2nd gen. However the wheel and tire selection in the drag radials and slicks, are far better in the 16" variety. I am sure a few of you have done it. Any insight? I have "heard" you need to swap the whole 2nd gen knuckle on the front end?

How much power will a stock 47rh hold... (not what you are thinking)

In a 3000lbs rat rod. I know in a stock 6000lbs 2nd gen they are only good for stock power or slightly more. I am guessing with half the weight, and obviously never towing, it should be able to handle 350hpish? The owner just got it running after 2 years of building, and is hoping to make it...

Only getting fuel to number one injector

I searched but didn't come up with much for the same issue. I have a friend that transplanted a 1995 12v 160hp into a hot rod he is building. Went to do the first start today, cracked all the lines, and only #1 is getting fuel. Pulled all the lines, so we could see it shoot straight out of the...

    QSB Pistons

Decided since I am looking for information on them others must be too, might as well have it in one place. From what I understand they are heat treated twice and are 30% stronger then standard truck pistons. They have a similar bowl too the 03-04.5 pistons, but the bowl lip has been shaved a...

    Map Width Groove HP charger

Has anyone out there, that is willing to share there information, done any back to back tests to see if there is an advantage to running grooves on the HP charger? I can see the obvious benefit in an atmospheric charger, but in an HP one not as much, but maybe I am not looking at it right?

WTB: 1 3/8" input shaft for installing twin discs

Just need one with straight splines, can be out of a blown up g56 or nv5600 from behind an HO truck, or where ever, just as long as it is the big shaft, and the spines are straight.

Anyone running an 88mm or bigger as a single?

I know Chad Riley is running an 88mm single on his altered roadster, and obviously seems to do well. I can't think of anyone else running that big, but I am sure there must be. Anyone else running anything that big as a single? Anyone running that big WITHOUT spray? Are you getting enough PR...

    NV4500 Nut

Yes I know this is not the "proper" way to fix it, but I don't care. Should I use ER70s rod or a 309L rod for welding the nut on? Not sure what either the nut or the shaft is made out of. I am guessing the shaft is steel, not sure about the nut. I was thinking two stitches about .75" long, on...

    Motor Plates

Does anyone produce these for the cummins 5.9? Motor and mid plate would be great, just a generic one that can be trimmed down to fit the chassis.
